Suffolk County driving ranges

Suffolk is long. A range in Montauk and a range in West Babylon are not substitutes. This guide sticks to pages we could cite on October 21, 2026.

Suffolk County courses

The county golf page says each course has a driving range, a pro shop, and a practice green. Tee times use a Green Key Card. Call the course before you assume the range requires the same card.

• Santapogue Creek in West Babylon, formerly Bergen Point.
• Timber Point in Great River.
• Indian Island in Riverhead. The county says the range is open until dusk.
• West Sayville.

Street addresses for Santapogue Creek and Timber Point were not on the county index. Those venue pages say call to confirm.

Town and state ranges with a clear practice note

• Crab Meadow in Northport and Dix Hills Park are Town of Huntington courses. Dix Hills is irons only.
• Smithtown Landing says it has an irons driving range and is open to the public.
• Poxabogue Golf Center in Bridgehampton is a Town of Southampton range and 9-hole course, open to the public.
• Southampton Golf Range confirms 14 covered Toptracer bays and miniature golf.
• Cherry Creek Golf Links in Riverhead lists an all-grass driving range.
• Island's End lists a grass-tee driving range and public play, near Greenport. The homepage did not include a street address.
• Heartland Golf Park in Edgewood confirms a heated 92-stall range.
• Topgolf Holtsville confirms heated, covered, Toptracer bays.
• Montauk Downs and Sunken Meadow are New York State Parks ranges. Montauk Downs says range availability can change during facility work.

Still thin

Country Fair Park, Holbrook Country Club, and Middle Island Country Club are in the directory without a confirmed official page. Mill Pond, Pine Hills, Rock Hill, Spring Lake, Shelter Island Country Club, and Wind Watch have official sites, and those sites do not fully describe a driving range. Call.
