November 2, 2026

Driving ranges and golf simulators in Riverhead, Calverton, Mattituck, Southold, Cutchogue, Wading River, and Greenport, checked November 2, 2026. Missing prices and hours say call to confirm.

LISwing earns a commission if you buy through links on this page, at no extra cost to you. We're independent of GlobalGolf/Worldwide Golf. Affiliate disclosure.

Riverhead, Calverton, Mattituck, Cutchogue, and Wading River are one East End practice corridor, with Greenport farther out on the North Fork. The outdoor pages that name a place to hit balls are Indian Island, Cherry Creek Golf Links, Island's End, and The Rock Golf Club. The indoor rates are in Calverton and Cutchogue. Mattituck's indoor room says it is temporarily closed. This page uses each operator's own site and the Suffolk County golf index, checked November 2, 2026. Golf on Long Island's February 3, 2026 indoor list is used only where a venue page is silent on a bay count. If a dollar figure or a clock time is missing, or two official lines disagree, call.

The county lists are the Suffolk driving range guide and the Suffolk simulator guide. Every indoor room in the directory is on the simulator guide. Filter the outdoor set on the directory. The South Fork rooms, including Southampton Golf Range, Poxabogue in Bridgehampton, and Four Seasons Indoor Golf, are a different trip. This page did not reopen those sites. The October 26, 2026 check of Four Seasons is in the Suffolk simulator guide.

Indian Island

Indian Island Country Club lists a public golf course in Riverhead. The footer lists 661 Riverside Drive, Riverhead, New York 11901, and (631) 727-7776. The header prints extension 6. The same pages say to call the pro shop for updated golf course hours.

The driving-range page lists:

  • 25 stalls.
  • AstroTurf mats.
  • Clubs available.
  • Small, 40 balls, $8.
  • Large, 80 balls, $16.
  • "Buy 5 buckets get 2 free $40."

That last line does not say which bucket the deal uses, or whether $40 is the price of the deal. Call (631) 727-7776 before you pay it. The page does not print a price for the clubs. It does not say the stalls are heated, covered, or lighted. It does not say whether a driver is allowed. The mats line does not say the grass is closed, and it does not say grass tees are open. Call.

The about page says "Driving Range (Open until dusk)." The range page itself does not repeat "until dusk."

The hours widget on the club pages lists Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The banner above it says to call for updated hours. Those widget hours are not labeled as range hours.

What the county page adds

The county course page lists PGA professional Steve Feder, the same pro shop phone, and GREEN KEY REQUIRED beside that phone. It says "Driving Range (Open until dusk)." Hours of operation on that page are Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Those hours are wider than the club site's widget, and the weekend open is an hour earlier than the widget. The range page does not print either clock. Call and ask which clock is the range.

The county page does not print 661 Riverside Drive as the course address. The restaurant on that page, VIP on the 19th Tee, uses 661 Riverside Drive, Riverhead, NY 11901, and (631) 818-4653. That number is not the range. The mailing address at the bottom is P.O. Box 144, West Sayville, NY 11796, and the parks phone is (631) 854-4949. Use the pro shop number for the range.

The county golf index says each of the four county courses has a driving range, and that tee times use a Green Key Card. It says the Indian Island pro shop is open year round. The driving-range page does not mention a Green Key. Call before you assume a bucket needs the card.

The fees page lists 18-hole green fees. It does not list the bucket. The bucket is on the driving-range page. The private-lessons page lists Larry Springer at $65 for a half hour, $130 for an hour, and $300 for five half hours. The county page names Steve Feder and does not print those prices. The lessons guide has the county description. Call before you pay either card.

Cherry Creek

Cherry Creek Golf Links lists 900 Reeves Avenue, Riverhead, NY 11901, (631) 369-6500, and mikespringer1@yahoo.com. The homepage and the amenities page both list an all-grass driving range, a practice putting and chipping area, and public 18-hole golf. A stall count, heat, a roof, lights, and range hours are not on those pages. The amenities page does not say mats are also out. Call (631) 369-6500 before you bring a driver, and before you assume the range is open tonight.

A homepage card says "Golf Memberships, Range Programs, FLEX Instruction." The membership page is a request form. It does not print a range-program price.

The rates page is titled "OFF SEASON RATES" and says "as of Nov 3, 2025." It lists green fees in walk and ride columns. It does not list a bucket. November 2, 2026 is a year after that heading. Call before you pay the green fees on that page, and call for the bucket.

Figures still printed under that November 3, 2025 heading:

  • Weekends and holidays, 18 holes, $53 walk and $75 ride. Nine holes, $33 walk and $45 ride.
  • Weekdays, Monday through Friday, 18 holes, $43 walk and $65 ride. Nine holes, $28 walk and $40 ride.

Those rows say "All Day." The page does not say the range uses the same card.

The instruction page lists Michael Springer, PGA, head golf professional, at $70 for a half hour, $140 for an hour, and $300 for five half hours. It says to call (631) 369-6500 extension 1. Will Andrew, assistant golf professional, is listed at $50 for a half hour and $100 for an hour, at (631) 506-0777 extension 1 and will.andrewsgolf@gmail.com. That phone is the number on The Woods at Cherry Creek, across the street at 967 Reeves Avenue. Call and ask which tee the lesson uses.

Island's End

Island's End lists 5025 Rte 25, Greenport, NY 11944, and (631) 477-0777. The homepage says "18 Hole Championship Golf Course, Open to the Public, Memberships available, Grass Tee Driving Range." It says the course is minutes from downtown Greenport. A stall count, heat, a roof, and lights are not on the homepage. It does not say whether a driver is allowed. Call.

The rates page lists the driving range on its own lines:

  • Small, $15.
  • Large, $20.
  • Range membership, $500.

The page does not say how many balls are in a small or a large. It does not say what dates the $500 membership covers. It does not print range hours. Call (631) 477-0777 before you buy the membership.

The same page has two green-fee blocks. A block titled "Winter Rates" lists Monday through Thursday, walk or ride, $59, and Friday through Sunday, open to noon, $69, then "Noon $39." A second table prints date windows and does not print a year. The window "OCT 27TH – Dec 31st" lists 18 holes at $59 Monday through Thursday and $69 Friday through Sunday. It does not repeat the noon line. November 2 falls inside October 27 through December 31 if that window is the current year. The two blocks do not use the same words for a noon rate. Call.

A note under the seasonal table says the asterisk includes walking, a pull cart, or a golf cart before 12:00 p.m. Cart fees on the same page are $15 a person for 9 holes and $25 a person for 18 holes. Those lines are green fees and carts. They are not the bucket. The page also lists "Weekend starting time $1,600" and does not say what that starting time is. Call before you treat $1,600 as a bucket or as a tee time.

The homepage and the rates page do not print a lesson price. The site has an instruction link. This check did not open it. Call.

The Rock

The Rock Golf Club in Wading River lists 141 Fairway Dr., Wading River, NY 11792, (631) 886-2950, and info@playtherockgolfclub.com. The homepage title calls it a private golf course. The about page says the par-71 course plays 6,404 yards from the back tees and "has a premium driving range, short game area, and a teaching facility." It also says the setting feels like a private course because tee times are not used. A bucket price, a stall count, range hours, heat, a roof, lights, and grass or mats are not on the homepage or the about page. The about page still says phase 1 of a redevelopment will be complete in the spring of 2023. Call (631) 886-2950 before you count on buying a bucket as a non-member.

Calverton National

Calverton National says "4k indoor golf powered by Trackman." Read that as the site's own words. It does not expand 4k into a Trackman model number. The address on the page is 313 Edwards Avenue, Calverton, NY. The page does not print a ZIP or a phone. The Trackman booking page is titled Calverton National and still uses a westhampton-national slug. The email on that page is Kevin@calverton-national.com.

Lesson prices on the homepage, the same figures as the October 26 check in the Suffolk simulator guide:

  • Introductory lesson, $50, described as a 30-minute swing analysis.
  • $220 for 2 one-hour lessons.
  • $400 for 4 one-hour lessons.

The same homepage lists $4,000 annually, 10 hours per month, up to 3 guests, next to the leftover line "Add a footnote if this applies to your business."

The Trackman memberships page, checked November 2, 2026, lists two plans. Gold Membership is $5,000 a year. Silver Membership is $4,000 a year. Those records do not print a description, a guest cap, or a monthly hour allowance. They do not match the homepage's single $4,000 line, and the homepage's 10-hour and 3-guest lines are not on the Gold or Silver records. No public hourly rate is on the homepage or on those membership records. The booking tool has a category named Public. That label is not a dollar rate. Call and ask what a non-member pays for an hour.

The hours widget showed 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and was labeled open today. It is not a weekly schedule. The February 3, 2026 list describes three Trackman hitting bays. The venue site does not print a bay count. The site does not describe food or a bar. It does not say the room is heated. It is an indoor Trackman rental. Call.

Scott's Pointe is the other indoor room in Calverton. They are different businesses.

Scott's Pointe

Scott's Pointe's golf page lists indoor golf simulators at 5835 Middle Country Road, Calverton, NY 11933, (631) 953-2133, and info@scottspointe.com. It says the bays are bookable by the hour, for individuals, couples, and groups, and that they use launch monitors and real ball data. It says the room works in any weather and names St. Andrews as an example of a course on the screen. It does not print a bay count, a simulator brand, a player cap, or a price. It does not say the bays are heated. Call for the count and the brand.

The tickets page says "The Golf Simulators are here! Check them out 60 mins for up to 6 people." That line does not print a dollar amount. It says waivers are required for every visitor, including spectators. The page also says new pricing is in effect for 2026.

The FAQ is the page that prints the golf dollar:

  • Golf simulators, $60 an hour, up to 6 people.
  • Indoor pass or spectator ticket required for the golf simulators, the ProFlow Wave, and the aquapark.
  • Spectator option available. The page does not print a spectator price.
  • Standard all-day indoor pass, $45 cash or $46.58 by credit card. The attractions named in that pass include miniature golf, axe throwing, rock climbing, laser tag, a ninja course, a jungle gym, and bumper cars. Golf simulators are in the separate-fee list, not in that unlimited list.
  • Child pass, 40 inches and under, $17.99 cash or $18.62 by credit card. The page says that rate replaces an ages-3-and-under ticket. It does not say the child pass is a golf-simulator hour.

The FAQ does not say whether each person in the bay also pays the pass, or whether one pass covers the group. Call (631) 953-2133 and ask what is on the receipt for two people in one hour.

The homepage says the park has a full restaurant and 2 bars. Lakeview Grill on that page is open daily 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and closed Tuesdays. The contact page repeats the grill hours as 12 to 9, closed Tuesday. The golf page does not say the bay rate includes food.

Hours do not agree with a seven-day room.

The contact page's general park hours are Saturday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday are not on that list. The homepage says fall hours begin September 1, 2026, and lists the same Saturday and Sunday indoor hours. The FAQ says summer hours are daily from 11 a.m., closing Sunday through Thursday at 7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday at 9 p.m., and that winter indoor hours are Saturday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. November 2 is after September 1. The contact page is the one that also prints a 2026 holiday table. Call before a weekday.

Closures on that holiday table include Election Day, November 3, 2026, Veterans Day, November 11, 2026, Thanksgiving Eve, November 25, 2026, Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Black Friday, November 27, 2026, is listed open 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The golf page does not say the simulators keep a different clock from the park.

The homepage, the tickets page, and the contact page still say "Scott's Pointe will re-open 2/6/26." February 6, 2026 has passed, and the contact page is printing November 2026 holiday hours. Treat the February line as a banner that was not taken down. Call before you go.

The park also sells miniature golf. That is a separate attraction from the golf-simulator hour.

Cedars

Cedars Golf Club lists an indoor Trackman iO at 305 Cases Lane Ext, Cutchogue, NY 11935, (631) 734-6363. The contact page names Ken Pearsall, GM, at ken@cedarsgolfclub.com. The simulator page says iO is Trackman's indoor unit, that it tracks club and ball data, and that Trackman Virtual Golf includes courses, practice, leagues, games, and swing video. It says this is the only Trackman iO simulator on the North Fork. It says to call or email to book a private event, and to use the tee-time link to reserve simulator time.

The about page calls Cedars a 9-hole public par-3, 1,120 yards, and says lessons are available on the course or in the simulator. It says convenience foods, beer, and soft drinks are available on site. It also says Cedars "features the North Fork's only indoor golf simulator." That sentence is wider than the simulator page's Trackman iO line. Endless Round in Mattituck describes an indoor TrackMan studio and says that studio is temporarily closed. Calverton National and Scott's Pointe describe indoor golf in Calverton. Call if you need the only-room claim to be true tonight.

The pricing page says the club is open year round and links 2026-Golf-Season-Rates.pdf as current hours and rates. The simulator block in that file:

  • 30 minutes, $45.
  • 60 minutes, $75.
  • Walk-in simulator play may be available. Reservations are strongly suggested. The phone on that line is 631-734-6363.

The file does not say how many players the $45 or the $75 covers. It does not say the price is per person. It does not print a separate simulator open and close. The course line on the same file is daily, 7 a.m. to dark. Call and ask whether the simulator uses that clock.

The same file lists memberships, valid 12 months from purchase:

  • Golf course membership, $675, unlimited play on the par-3. Seniors $575. Under 18, $425.
  • Simulator membership, $900, two 60-minute sessions a week.
  • Course plus simulator, $1,200. Seniors $1,050. Under 18, $900.
  • Members may reserve simulator time up to 10 days ahead. An accompanied guest is welcomed at no additional charge. Additional time is $40 an hour for members only. A maximum of 20 memberships that include simulator privileges will be sold.

The pricing page says the course is reserved for league play from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays, May through September. That sentence says "course." It does not say the simulator is closed those mornings. Call.

The lessons page says long-game instruction and custom club fitting use the simulator. It does not print a lesson price. The about page says golf clubs and pull carts are available for rent. The rates file lists pull-cart rental at $4 and club rental at $6 on the course block. It does not say those rental prices are the simulator bay. Call.

Course green fees in that file, separate from the simulator, are $20 regular, $17 for seniors and under 18, and $15 for unlimited daily replay. A 10-round pass is $170. Those figures are the par-3. They are not the simulator hour.

Endless Round

Endless Round says the studio is temporarily closed. The same page lists four TrackMan bays at 7785 Main Road, Mattituck, NY 11952, and (631) 298-7156. It says bays are reserved by the hour. It names memberships Par, Birdie, and Eagle. It does not print an hourly dollar rate or a membership price. It advertises coal-oven pizza from Table 87. A fall-league note says week 1 starts November 10, the league runs six weeks, and enrollment is by email. That line does not print a year or a fee. Call (631) 298-7156 before you treat any of that as open.

Mattituck is in the Town of Southold. The address on the page says Mattituck, NY 11952. There is a Mattituck town page. There is no Southold town page.

The October 31, 2026 reading of this page is in the winter leagues guide. This check found the same closure line and the same November 10 league line.

Not a public bucket stop

Sandy Pond Links lists 1521 Roanoke Ave, Riverhead, NY 11901, and (631) 660-8368. The FAQ on that page, checked November 2, 2026, says "We do not have a driving range." The same FAQ says fall hours for the par-3 are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The site also has a mini-golf page. It is not a listing in this directory. Riverhead already lists Indian Island and Cherry Creek.

The Woods at Cherry Creek lists 967 Reeves Avenue, Riverhead, NY 11901, (631) 506-0777, and the same email as Cherry Creek, mikespringer1@yahoo.com. The amenities page lists a putting and short-game practice area. It does not list a driving range. A homepage card says "Range Programs," in the same template line Cherry Creek uses, and the Woods amenities list does not include a range. It is not a listing here. Call (631) 506-0777 if you want to know whether you can hit balls there.

Laurel Links lists 6400 Main Road, Laurel, NY 11948, and (631) 298-4300. The homepage and the golf page, checked November 2, 2026, describe a private club and a course. They do not describe a driving range or a public bucket. Laurel sits between Mattituck and Cutchogue. There is no Laurel town page. It is not a listing here.

Long Island National lists 1793 Northville Turnpike, Riverhead, NY 11901. The contact page prints (631) 591-3733. The homepage, the guest page, and the contact page do not describe a driving range. A telephone link in the homepage HTML is 973-376-1900. Use the contact-page number, then call. It is not a listing here.

This check did not find an operator page for a driving range or a golf simulator that prints a Southold hamlet address. The Mattituck studio and the Greenport range are the listings east of Riverhead on this page.

What to book

For a published outdoor bucket with a ball count, Indian Island is the $8 small bucket and the $16 large bucket in Riverhead. The 25 stalls and the AstroTurf mats are on that same page. The Green Key line is on the county page, not on the range page, and the clocks do not agree. Call.

Island's End is the $15 and $20 range card in Greenport, and the ball count is a phone call. Cherry Creek is the all-grass range in Riverhead, and the bucket price is a phone call. The Rock is the Wading River practice ground named on a private-club about page, and a public bucket is a phone call. None of the four range pages says the bays are heated. Sandy Pond's own FAQ says it does not have a driving range.

For a screen this week, Cedars is the Cutchogue Trackman iO at $45 for 30 minutes and $75 for 60, and the player cap is a phone call. Scott's Pointe is the Calverton park bay at $60 an hour for up to 6 people on the FAQ, and the pass or spectator ticket is a second charge the FAQ does not fully price. Calverton National is the Edwards Avenue Trackman room, and the public hour is a phone call because Gold, Silver, and the homepage do not name the same membership. Endless Round is the Mattituck address, and the operator says the studio is temporarily closed.

Four Seasons Indoor Golf at the Southampton Golf Range is the published indoor hour south of this corridor. This page did not reopen that rate card. The heated outdoor bays farther west are in the heated driving range guide. Topgolf Holtsville is the directory's heated Toptracer range west of Riverhead. This page did not reopen that site.

A fitting at Cherry Creek, Indian Island, Cedars, or Calverton National is separate from a bucket or a bay. If the numbers say the clubs should go, GlobalGolf's club page is the trade-in and club shop linked from this site. Some of the links in that shop are affiliate links. If you buy through them, LISwing may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Read the affiliate disclosure. GlobalGolf sells clubs. It does not book these ranges or these bays. Outdoor days that need rain gear are on the gear page. LISwing's GolfNow link is not live, so this page does not add one.

Published hourly rates for rooms outside this corridor are in the simulator pricing guide. A simulator at home is a different purchase. Ceiling height and the component prices we could verify are in the home simulator setup guide. How a fact gets onto a venue page is in how LISwing checks a venue.

Questions

Which driving ranges are on the North Fork and in Riverhead, NY?

Three outdoor pages name a public place to hit balls. Indian Island in Riverhead lists 25 stalls and a small bucket at $8 for 40 balls. Cherry Creek in Riverhead lists an all-grass driving range and does not print a bucket price. Island's End in Greenport lists a grass-tee driving range, a small bucket at $15, and a large bucket at $20, and does not say how many balls. The Rock in Wading River calls itself a private course and says it has a premium driving range, with no public bucket price. Heated bays, stall counts that are missing, and hours that disagree say call to confirm.

How much is a bucket at Indian Island, Cherry Creek, or Island's End?

On November 2, 2026, Indian Island's driving-range page listed a small bucket at $8 for 40 balls and a large bucket at $16 for 80 balls. Island's End's rates page listed a small bucket at $15 and a large bucket at $20, with no ball count, and a range membership at $500 with no term. Cherry Creek's rates page is headed off-season rates as of November 3, 2025, lists green fees, and does not list a bucket. Call before you treat a missing ball count or a year-old green-fee card as tonight's range price.

Is there a driving range or golf simulator in Southold, NY?

The pages checked November 2, 2026 did not find an operator site for a driving range or a golf simulator that prints a Southold hamlet address. Mattituck, in the Town of Southold, has Endless Round at 7785 Main Road, and that studio says it is temporarily closed. Island's End prints 5025 Rte 25, Greenport, NY 11944. There is no Southold town page in this directory. Call before you treat a Greenport or Mattituck listing as a Southold village address.

How much is a golf simulator in Cutchogue, Calverton, or Mattituck?

On November 2, 2026, Cedars Golf Club in Cutchogue linked a rates file that lists 30 minutes at $45 and 60 minutes at $75, and does not say how many players that hour covers. Scott's Pointe in Calverton lists golf simulators at $60 an hour for up to 6 people on its FAQ, and says an indoor pass or a spectator ticket is required. A spectator price is not printed. Calverton National does not print a public hourly rate, and its membership lines do not match. Endless Round in Mattituck does not print an hourly rate, and the site says the studio is temporarily closed.

Where can I hit balls on the North Fork when it is cold?

Indian Island, Cherry Creek, Island's End, and The Rock do not say their ranges are heated. The county index says the Indian Island pro shop is open year round. Cedars' pricing page says the club is open year round, and the rates file lists the course from 7 a.m. to dark. Scott's Pointe's golf page says year-round indoor golf, and the contact page lists general park hours only on Saturday and Sunday. Endless Round is indoors and says the studio is temporarily closed. Call before you treat an outdoor range as open tonight.

Do I need a Green Key or a membership to hit balls out here?

Suffolk County prints GREEN KEY REQUIRED beside the Indian Island pro shop phone. The driving-range page does not mention a Green Key. Cherry Creek and Island's End sell memberships and also describe public golf. Island's End's rates page does not say a bucket needs a membership. The Rock's homepage calls the club private and does not print a public bucket. Cedars publishes simulator rates and also sells a simulator membership. Scott's Pointe says an indoor pass or a spectator ticket is required for the golf simulators. Call the pro shop before you assume a card, a pass, or a membership is on the receipt.
