Golf lessons on Long Island

October 30, 2026

Driving ranges and indoor studios on Long Island that publish golf lessons, with prices from their own pages on October 30, 2026. Missing prices say call.

LISwing earns a commission if you buy through links on this page, at no extra cost to you. We're independent of GlobalGolf/Worldwide Golf. Affiliate disclosure.

A golf lesson on Long Island is a rate card, a "call for pricing" line, or a page that still carries an old season. This guide includes a place only when its own page, a town or county page, or a New York State Parks page, checked October 30, 2026, says instruction is offered. A dollar figure below is the figure that page printed that day. If the length, the teacher, or the price is missing, call. A range that is not on this page was not given a lesson line here. That is not a finding that nobody teaches there.

Bay rental is a different product. Published hourly simulator rates are in the simulator pricing guide. County lists are the Nassau driving range guide, the Suffolk driving range guide, the Nassau simulator guide, and the Suffolk simulator guide. Every indoor room in the directory is on the simulator guide. Filter the outdoor set on the directory.

Crab Meadow and Dix Hills

Crab Meadow prints the rate card. Head professional Scott Gileta, PGA, is at (631) 757-8800 extension 4 or sgiletapga@gmail.com. The page says he is a certified Callaway club fitter. The address on that page is 220 Waterside Road, Fort Salonga, NY 11768. The Northport venue page uses the town's Waterside Road listing. The Huntington guide has the street-name disagreement and the range hours.

Adult rates on the lessons page:

  • Half hour $90. One hour $150.
  • Five half hours $425. Five hours $700.
  • On-course 9-hole playing lesson $275.
  • Club fitting $100, waived with a purchase of $300 or more in equipment.
  • Juniors 17 and under: half hour $75, hour $120, five half hours $350, five hours $550.

The page says students get videos and notes after each session. The same page says lessons at Dix Hills Park are booked at (631) 499-8005. It does not say the Northport prices apply in Dix Hills.

The Dix Hills instruction page offers private lessons, group lessons, clinics, golf schools, and junior academy programs, and it tells you to call (631) 499-8005. It does not print a price or name a teacher. It also says the practice facilities feature a full range. The course homepage and the town golf page say the range is irons only. Call (631) 499-8005 before you bring a driver. That conflict is written out in the Huntington guide.

Poxabogue

The Town of Southampton says Poxabogue in Bridgehampton gives private lessons, that the staff uses Trackman for lessons and custom fittings, and that tee times are booked at poxgolf.com. The address and phone on the town page are 3556 Montauk Highway, Bridgehampton, NY 11932, (631) 537-0025.

The lessons page says range lessons are limited to one person at a time. Playing lessons go through the pro shop, tee times are required, the maximum is two people, the second player is an upcharge the page does not print, and greens fees, club rental, and pull-cart rental apply. Cancel at least 48 hours ahead or the page says you are charged.

  • Steve Feder, PGA, director of golf: half hour $120, hour $220.
  • Joseph Munzer, PGA, head golf professional: half hour $110, hour $210.
  • Rob Corcoran, PGA, teaching professional: half hour $110, hour $210.
  • Anthony Skirk, teaching professional: half hour $110, hour $210. The page does not put PGA next to his name.

Trackman fittings on that page cover a driver, irons, a putter, or a full set. Brands named there are Callaway, Cleveland, Mizuno, Ping, Srixon, Taylor Made, and Titleist. The town page's brand list adds XXIO and does not name Mizuno. Call if the brand you want is on only one of those lists.

Suffolk County's Indian Island page also names a PGA professional Steve Feder. The prices above are the Poxabogue card. Indian Island does not print a lesson price. See the Suffolk courses section.

Nassau ranges

Eisenhower, Cantiague, and North Woodmere

The Salisbury Golf & Learning Center page puts Eisenhower, Cantiague, and North Woodmere in the header and says Bob Posillico and the shop are returning to Eisenhower Park for the 2026 season. The lesson copy describes the pro shop at the Eisenhower Park driving range in East Meadow. It says PGA professionals Bob Posillico and Doug Solow run it with Nassau County and The First Tee. It offers individual lessons, clinics, First Tee programs, and PGA junior summer camps. Clinics say no equipment is needed. The page does not print a lesson price or a clinic price. It does say the shop has launch monitors and manufacturer fitting systems, and it describes a 400-yard outdoor range.

The phone on that page is (516) 222-2620. Fall hours printed there are closed Monday, Tuesday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The same page says hours change with the seasons. It does not say a lesson is held at Cantiague Park in Hicksville or at North Woodmere Park. Call before you book one at those parks.

Golf Channel Academy at Bethpage, Harbor Links, and Lido

Three directory courses have academy pages that name Kelley Brooke and do not print a private-lesson price.

  • Bethpage in Farmingdale. The academy page describes private coaching, women's programs, junior golf, and golf fitness, and it names Trackman, V1 video, K-Vest, Sam Putt Lab, and Eye Line. The phone and address on that page are (516) 249-0700 and 99 Quaker Meeting House Road, Farmingdale, NY 11735. The Bethpage range guide is the page for the range itself.
  • Harbor Links in Port Washington. The academy page uses the same service list and the same technology names. Phone (516) 767-4816. Address on that page: One Fairway Drive, Port Washington, NY 11050.
  • Lido Golf Club in Lido Beach. The academy page is the same offer, at (516) 889-8181, 255 Lido Boulevard, Lido Beach, NY 11561. The adult programs page says private-lesson pricing varies and does not print a private-lesson dollar figure. That page also names Bethpage, Montauk Downs, Lido, and Merrick as Golf Channel Academy locations.

The same adult-programs page prints two group series at $299. Adult Golf 101 is at Merrick: five one-hour classes, one hour a week, class limit 6, and the book "7 Days to Golf" is included. Adult Golf 201 is at Lido: three two-hour sessions, a review of 101, warm-up balls, and three guided rounds with carts. The fall 2026 rows are the latest dates on the page. The Thursday 101 row lists September 17, September 24, October 1, October 8, and October 15, and it does not print a clock time. The Sunday 101 row ends October 13. The fall 201 row is September 9, September 16, and September 23, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. October 30 is after those dates. Call (516) 889-8181 before you try to join a series.

A Lido product page for a coed clinic, ages 9 to 11, at Montauk Downs lists $30 a class, Fridays and Saturdays, 1:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m., and dates from June 22 through October 15. The date table on that page ends October 12. The page does not print a year. Call Lido, or the Montauk pro shop at (631) 668-1100, before you treat that calendar as this season. The Montauk Downs parks page, checked the same day, does not print a lesson price.

Lucas and Spring Rock

Lucas Golf Center in Woodbury says the driving range is closed for Town of Oyster Bay renovations, with no reopening date. The homepage says lessons and fittings from now through winter are booked by email at TOBProStaff@gmail.com. It does not say where the lesson is held, and it does not print a price. The address on that page is 1 South Woods Road, Woodbury, NY 11797. Phone (516) 364-3600. Pro shop hours are still printed: Monday 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Call before you treat those as a lesson schedule.

Spring Rock Golf Center in New Hyde Park puts Danny Choi and Annika Lee under a PGA-certified-trainers heading on the homepage. The page says the staff works on posture and timing and that lessons are offered. It does not print a lesson price. Address 377 Denton Avenue, New Hyde Park, NY 11040. Phone (516) 739-1081.

Suffolk courses

Spring Lake

Spring Lake in Middle Island has an instruction page for Cristy Jurgens, LPGA. It says she joined the staff in 2004, became director of golf in 2010, and teaches private lessons by appointment plus clinics for seniors, children, and ladies. The practice line on that page is a grass driving range and two practice greens. No lesson price is printed. The email is hidden behind a spam filter on the page, so use the phone. Call (631) 924-5115 extension 2. Address on that page: 30 E. Bartlett Road, Middle Island, NY 11953. The Instagram name printed there is @golfwithcristy.

Indian Island

The county page for Indian Island in Riverhead names PGA professional Steve Feder, lists the pro shop at (631) 727-7776, and puts "GREEN KEY REQUIRED" on that line. It describes lessons by appointment, playing lessons, video lessons, group lessons, individual sessions and packages, and custom club fitting. It does not print a price, and it does not say whether the Green Key line applies to a lesson. The private-lessons page says to call (631) 727-7776 extension 6 and does not print a price. The county parks phone on that course page is (631) 854-4949. That page's mailing address is a West Sayville post office box, not a street address for the course.

Timber Point

Timber Point in Great River still has an instruction page with a full menu, and the biography on that same page still says Ed Sallie is director of instruction "once again for the 2018 season." Treat every dollar below as a figure to confirm, not as this year's rate. Call the pro shop at (631) 581-2401, or the number that page prints for Ed Sallie, (631) 478-3126. The address on the page is 398 Great River Road, Great River, NY 11739. It also says the practice area has 35 hitting stations, a pitching and bunker area, and a practice putting green.

Figures still printed on that page:

  • Adult half hour $60. Junior half hour $50.
  • Five adult half hours $275. Five junior half hours $225.
  • Adult hour $120. Three adult hours $300. Six adult hours $500.
  • Two-hour playing lesson $175.
  • Club fitting $50. A 40-token practice plan $140.

Jones Golf Academy and Pine Ridge

Jones Golf Academy is not a separate venue page. The homepage says the academy serves Pine Ridge Golf Club in Coram and Gull Haven in Central Islip. The rates page and the booking page say private lessons are outdoors at Gull Haven, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and that the 2026 private-lesson season runs May 1 through October 31. October 30 is the day before that printed end date. Call (631) 655-2233 before you book a session after it. The programs page lists Gull Haven at 1 Gull Haven Drive, Central Islip, NY 11717.

Private prices on the rates page:

  • One 30-minute lesson $60. Three $165. Six $315. Ten $500.
  • The one-hour heading does not print a single-hour price. The store lists a one-hour 3-pack at $280 and a 6-pack at $550. The 10-pack prices did not render on October 30, 2026.
  • A joint lesson adds $50 for the second person. The page's example is $75 per person for a one-hour joint lesson. Joint lessons are not available for on-course lessons.
  • Packages are valid for one year from purchase, and the rates page says they can be scheduled only during the active season. Purchases are non-refundable.

The programs page still says spring, summer, and fall 2026 registration is open. Fall adult group sessions are $135 for residents and $169 for non-residents. The page does not say which town's residents. Sunday clinic prices on that page are dated in May. Call for the next group session rather than paying a May early-bird figure.

Pine Ridge's homepage, checked the same day, says Brooke Management Group, LLC now manages the club and that the group oversees instruction programs, "13+ coaches" and "5 locations." It does not name Jones Golf Academy and it does not print a lesson price. Address 2 Golf Course Drive, Coram, NY 11727. Phone (631) 331-7930.

Sunken Meadow

The New York State Parks page for Sunken Meadow in Kings Park says golf lessons are available through the pro shop at (631) 544-0036 for pricing and scheduling. It does not print a lesson price. General information is (631) 269-5351. Bucket prices and the "first tee as of April 14" line are in the Huntington guide. They are not a lesson rate.

Golfzon Westbury

The Golfzon instruction page says private lessons are with Leadbetter-certified instructors Eddie Rodriguez and Stephen Clark, and it tells you to call (516) 388-6210 for the private-lesson price. A swing evaluation is $150 for 60 minutes. Group classes are up to six players at $50 a session, in a semi-private area. The page does not say how long a group session is.

The discounts page still introduces its offers as spring savings. The beginner bundle there is $99 and includes one lesson with a Leadbetter-certified instructor, two half-hour bay sessions, and 10% off a membership plan after you finish. The page calls that a $175 value. Call (516) 388-6210 and ask if that bundle is still for sale. The room is Golfzon Range Westbury. Membership plans that include a short lesson are in the Westbury simulator guide. This page did not recheck that membership table.

PGA Tour Superstore

Both store pages list adult lessons starting at $79.99 and studio fittings starting at $99.99. Neither page says how long those starting prices cover. Both list clinics, including a Wedge-U-Cation on November 7, and neither prints a clinic price.

Lab 18 in Roslyn lists members at $160 and non-members at $200, rates subject to change, for players of every age and level. The page does not say how long the lesson is. This lessons page does not print a public hourly play rate.

Pinnacle in Rockville Centre prints two lesson cards at 60 Maple Avenue, (516) 764-4653. The pricing page lists non-member lessons at $120 an hour and $65 a half hour, plus a 3% card fee. The membership page lists member lessons at $110 an hour and $60 a half hour, with the same 3% fee on membership prices. Reservations are required.

Modern Links, Calverton National, Golf Galaxy, and two rooms with no price

Modern Links in Port Jefferson Station says it has three simulators, a PuttView green, and a PGA professional on staff. The one-hour lesson is $200. Address on both pages: 200 Wilson Street, Suite E6A, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11720. Phone (631) 606-0213. Email info@modernlinks.golf. Hours are listed as 24/7. The pages do not name the simulator brand or print a public hourly rate. The Suffolk simulator guide has the ZIP disagreement with other listings for this street. Call.

Calverton National lists an introductory lesson at $50, described as a 30-minute swing analysis, $220 for two one-hour lessons, and $400 for four one-hour lessons. The address on the page is 313 Edwards Avenue, Calverton, NY. The page does not print a phone or a ZIP. The hours widget showed 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and was labeled as open today. That is not a weekly schedule. The same homepage prints $4,000 annually beside leftover template text, so call about any membership. The venue page has the email that was on the booking tool the last time that tool was checked. This page did not recheck that tool.

Golf Galaxy Bay Shore says the store page offers lesson packages with PGA and LPGA professionals and associates, at 1701 Sunrise Highway, Bay Shore Mall, Suite B, Bay Shore, NY 11706, (631) 892-8242. It says youth packs are available and to see the store. It does not say those figures are Bay Shore-only, and it does not say how long the three-lesson and six-lesson packages are. Call (631) 892-8242.

Two more directory rooms mention a teacher and do not print a lesson price. Birdies in Patchogue tells you to ask for a PGA-certified instructor on the indoor golf page. Phone (631) 654-4653. Island Greens in Franklin Square includes "a Swing Assessment with our golf pro" in the Island Greens Pass on the pricing page. The pass is $250 a month, billed annually. The page does not print a standalone lesson price. Phone (516) 730-3456.

GOLFTEC

GOLFTEC's three Long Island pages are lesson centers. They are not simulator listings in this directory, and none of them prints a public hourly rate for playing a round. Each page shows a game evaluation at $99 with $150 also printed on that line, and a note that offer availability and pricing may vary by location. Call before you pay either figure.

Pages that do not print a lesson menu

These homepages were opened on October 30, 2026, and they do not list a lesson price or a teacher. Call if you want instruction there.

Heated outdoor bays, which are a different question from a lesson, are in the heated driving range guide. How a fact gets onto a venue page is in how LISwing checks a venue.

A fitting is separate from the lesson price. If the numbers say the clubs should go, GlobalGolf's club page is the trade-in and club shop linked from this site. Some of the links in that shop are affiliate links. If you buy through them, LISwing may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Read the affiliate disclosure. GlobalGolf sells clubs. It does not book these lessons. Outdoor days that need rain gear are on the gear page. LISwing's GolfNow link is not live, so this page does not add one.
